Allen will be going to Florida this week to meet with Mr. Wilder about the needs of the RGV Parks. My requests are 50 amp service, streets, a/c for hall and more cement pads and a new wood shop. In the mean time we are trimming trees, cutting grass repairing ceiling in the sunset room and the sowing room. Meanwhile we had a major leak in the Poker Room but we need a heavy rain to find it. None in sight. Tthat’s it for now.
We have put in two cement pads on lots on Winners Circle and have fixed the Horse shoe pads. We will be putting pads on sites along doggy row and some other sites that flood. Can’t do much until Allen gets back from meeting with Wildler. In the mean time we are working to make the park beautiful.
SUMMER 2012
well, we are starting our summer projects now. we have mowed the whole park and if we don’t get some rain soon it may be the only time we have to mow. Project No. 1. New roof over the Sunrise Room. Finished it off today. It is amazing how much cooler that room is already. Should be very nice for whatever activities we have in there.
I am looking for some feed back on making the Gazbo by the Suffle Board court into an air conditioned room. It can be used for many things also.

i had a comment about the trees we are cutting down that all it needed was to be trimmed and it could have been saved. truth is the tree was being eaten up by termites. the center of the tree was gone. we are very careful about the trees we cut down and take each tree very seriously. bill

i am sorry to say that we had to cut down about 10 trees due to the drought and disease.
Roof
The roof is done over the sunset room. thanks to a great maintenance crew and Ray Tertocha.
Update
the laundry room will be in a mess for awhile. we are going to replace six washers with new ones..
